Create A New Wallet

First-Time Setup

If you have recently installed the tastycrypto app or browser extension, you will be prompted to create a new wallet or import and existing wallet. To create a new wallet: 

  1. Download the app on your device.
  2. Open the app and select Get Started. 
  3. Create a password. 
  4. Enable Face ID:
    1. You can skip this step however we recommend setting up this additional security measure. 
  5. Join our community for the latest updates/news from us!  
  6. You have created your first wallet!

Create Additional Wallets

If you currently have a tastycrypto wallet and would like to create an additional wallet: 

  1. Access your wallet. 
  2. Click on the Wallet Selector on the top right corner. 
  3. Select Create New Wallet>Add Wallet>Manual Backup:
    1. You have the option to skip this step and back up your recovery phrase later, although we strongly recommend performing a manual backup. 
  4. Click Show Recovery Phrase.
    1. Store your recovery phrase in a secure location! tastycrypto DOES NOT have access to your recovery phrase and your wallet cannot be recovered if you lose your phrase! 
  5. Select the coins you would like to view:
    1. Note: Adding a coin to your list does not imply that you are purchasing it.
  6. Select Create Wallet to successfully create an additional wallet!
