Good morning my tasty friends, I hope you’re all having a wonderful start to your weekend.

While the markets continue to disappoint us, you know we’re still lighting fires in the cave.
In today’s email, we’ve got a BIG update to the tastycrypto, there are new guests joining us on the network, and we break down what we’re seeing in the market, but first…
Performance Dashboard

The Macro Winds Are Whipping
Risk happens fast, and the unwind that materialized at the beginning of last month has been unrelenting in March. At the time of writing, we’re in the midst of a bounce, so if you bought BTC in the 70s at any point over the last month… Nice trade. That said, we’re still lost in the dark forest and I have yet to see signs of the tree line. I’d want to see bitcoin hold north of 88k before I’m short-term bullish again. – For now, BTC momentum is bearish, and the weekly expected move is 78k-91k. This is off of an 84k spot price and 55% implied vol. Realized vol is mid-60s. The seas are choppy.
I’ve got these workout shorts from this brand called Ten Thousand and the brand has this motto, “Nothing Changes, If Nothing Changes.” This is applicable to both putting in shifts at the muscle factory and to markets. So what needs to change for us to be happy again? As a signal, I want to see vol trending lower and some interest rate stability. For a VIX under 20 would be a good start.
From my note on Wednesday:
“Previously, markets were positioned for easing ahead of speculative crypto policy catalysts that have since come and gone. So, until we have clarity on fiscal policy, the Fed’s path forward, and yield stabilization, I think bitcoin and crypto markets remain under heavy pressure in the short-term.”
On the headline front, your favorite politicians are going to battle it out over stablecoins and the bitcoin reserve, plus there could be a tariff tweet at any time. So, per usual, keep your head on a swivel.
Download the new version of tastycrypto!
We started at 0, now we’re at 4.0. The newest version of the tc app is now live in both the iOS and Android app stores, and this is the best version yet (until the next release of course).
So what’s in the new app?
Markets Dashboard, Watchlists, and News Stories.
We’ve now added a separate markets tab to keep track of price action, create custom watchlists, and follow the biggest gainers and losers in the market each day. Plus, when you tap on the logo for any token, you’ll be able to swipe through news stories, like on Instagram and TikTok.
Optimism and Arbitrum Now In tastycrypto
tastycrypto has always been a multi-chain wallet and we are excited to announce the app now supports both the Optimism and Arbitrum networks. Now you can transfer, swap, and connect to apps directly on both chains.
Buy Crypto at tastytrade, Directly in tastycrypto
This is probably the feature I’m most excited about! You can now buy crypto in your tastytrade account directly from within the tastycrypto app. And sure, I’m biased, but the interface is pretty sweet and it’s super easy to use.
To buy crypto, simply log in to your account and instead of transferring, just hit that big buy button and enter the dollar amount you want to purchase. We’ll add more order types soon, but for now it’s very easy to fire off a dollar market order and add more crypto to your brokerage account.
Better Swaps and DeFi Updates
We’ve also made some serious improvements to the performance of the in-app token swap experience and we’ve updated the defi dashboard too, which I’m planning to cover in more details on the tastycrypto show. We’re going to be trading a lot more on-air and running some liquidity pool tutorials too, so stay tuned.
