New Crypto Trading Experience at tastytrade: Faster, Better, Smoother

Good morning my tasty friends, I hope you’re all having a wonderful start to your weekend.

Crypto never sleeps, the grind never stops, and I couldn’t be more excited for all the progress we’ve been making with crypto at tastytrade. The cave is cooking, and not just with propane. More like with gasoline… If it was coming out of an industrial firehose at full strength. We’re spraying it everywhere. I don’t care what’s happening in the market. We’re in blast off mode at tastytrade.

We’ve launched more tokens at tastytrade, there’s a brand new crypto trading interface in the tastytrade mobile apps, and the App Store gods have blessed our new version of tastycrypto for release. Let’s get it!

New Tokens

Sure, bitcoin and ETH are a good place to start, but they’re not the only coins in the market. Maybe you want to diversify your crypto portfolio, maybe you want more volatility, maybe XRP is the future of finance.

You want more product? We got it. This week tastytrade added 5 more tokens to its offering and I hear there’s more coming soon, too.

New Mobile App, Bad Ass and Beautiful

Beyond adding more coins to the menu, we’ve also made a huge change to the crypto trading interface on the tastytrade mobile app. Now, crypto trading, transfers, content, and futures/ETFs are all in one place, which you can find on the new crypto tab.

I’m super proud of this update and all of the work the product team has put into it. Personally, I love the work flow, it’s easy to stay on top of the market, quickly place trades, and I’ve gotta say, the watchlist price updates… Fast as hell.

If you’re new, spot crypto trading is available at tastytrade for cash and margin accounts, you just need to enable crypto trading on your account. Once you do, you’ll be able to trade the full list of tokens available at a 0.35 bp spread, which is one of the lowest costs around. Want to trade crypto futures, ETFs, or transfer your crypto to use on chain? Well, you can do that too.

Unleash the tastycrypto

Finally, a new version of the tastycrypto app is also now available for download. Like all releases, this is our best one yet. Our team truly appreciates all of the feedback you’ve been sharing and most of this has made its way into the new version. We smashed bugs, made it faster, improved the DeFi experience, added a new markets dashboard, built an Instagram-story-style news feed, and oh yeah… You can now use the tastycrypto app to log in to your tastytrade account and buy crypto directly in the app, too!

We’ll cover these features in more detail during next week’s email, but in the meantime make sure to tune into the tastylive network as I’ll be showing off our new products on a bunch of shows with everyone from Tom and Tony, to Liz and Jenny.
